Terms of Service

1) Agreement & scope

These Terms govern your use of ApeFirst (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept:

• These Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, AML/KYC Policy, Responsible Play Policy, Game Rules, and Prediction Market Rules (the "Policies").

We may update Terms/Policies at any time. Continued use means you accept the changes.

2) Eligibility

You confirm that you:

• Are 18+ or the legal age of majority where you live (whichever is higher);
• Open one account, for yourself, for entertainment/information purposes only;
• Access the Service only where lawful and not from Restricted Jurisdictions (see §12).

We may request KYC (age, identity, residence, source of funds) at any time and may suspend deposits/withdrawals while we verify.

3) Accounts & security

Provide accurate information and keep credentials, devices, and wallets secure. We may suspend/terminate for suspected fraud, multi-accounting, chargebacks, promo abuse, collusion, or AML concerns.

4) Deposits, credits, wagering & withdrawals

• Deposit only lawfully obtained funds that belong to you. Deposits may be credited as site credits in supported currencies/assets (including crypto).
• Anti-mixing / 1× rollover: You must wager at least 1× your deposit before withdrawals or tipping.
• We may require additional KYC/SOF checks prior to payout and, where feasible, return withdrawals to the original funding method.
• Fiat displays are indicative; balances/payouts occur in the transacted asset.
• If funds are credited by mistake, we may reverse them; if withdrawn, you owe a debt equal to the erroneous amount.
• We may refuse deposits/withdrawals or freeze balances during investigations.

5) Promotions & bonus abuse

Each promotion has specific terms (wagering, expiry, game weighting, max cash-out). Bonus abuse (e.g., multi-accounting, zero-risk hedging, exploiting errors) can result in bonus/win confiscation and/or account action. We may modify or withdraw promotions at any time.

6) Prediction Markets

ApeFirst offers event-based markets ("Predicts") where users trade YES/NO (binary) shares (or other contract types where available).

6.1 How shares work & payout

• Each Market has posted rules (trading window, resolution criteria, sources, contingencies). Read them before trading.
• On correct resolution, winning shares pay 1.00 unit of the settlement currency (e.g., 1.00 USDC or the designated in-platform asset).
• Prices generally range from 0 to 1.00; you may close positions before resolution by selling to other users (peer-to-peer).

6.2 Resolution & disputes

• Markets resolve per their Resolution Source and criteria. Edge cases are governed by the Market's own rule text.
• ApeFirst may use a structured proposal → bond → challenge window process (details in Prediction Market Rules). False/failed proposals may forfeit bonds; valid ones may earn rewards.
• If the outcome cannot be determined per the criteria, ApeFirst may interpret/clarify consistent with the Market Rules and publish a final resolution.

6.3 Conduct, manipulation & integrity

• No manipulation: Do not spread disinformation, coordinate in bad faith to distort prices/outcomes, or engage in unlawful conduct to influence results.
• Prohibited Markets: We may refuse, pause, or delist markets that are unlawful or unsafe.
• We may apply position limits, circuit breakers, trading halts, or extended settlement reviews for integrity/safety.

6.4 Disclaimers

• Markets are high risk and can lose value rapidly; trading involves internet and systems risks.
• Markets are informational/entertainment tools and not investment advice.
• Availability varies by jurisdiction; we do not offer Markets where restricted (see §12).

7) Casino games & game integrity

• Casino games are provided "as-is". Temporary outages, feed interruptions, latency, and bugs may occur.
• No refunds for completed wagers.
• Game outcomes may be produced by third-party suppliers' randomization systems (RNG) where applicable. We may publish basic game rules and payout tables provided by vendors. We do not provide "provably fair" documentation at this time.
• We may suspend, void, or correct wagers affected by obvious technical or pricing errors.

8) Fees

We may charge trading, settlement, withdrawal, and network fees as posted on-site. Changes may take effect upon notice.

9) Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: use bots/scripts; abuse bugs; multi-account; transact for others; launder funds; evade sanctions; use stolen payment methods; harass others; or upload unlawful/obscene content.

10) AML/KYC

We operate a risk-based AML program, which may include KYC, device/IP checks, sanctions screening, IP geo-blocking of prohibited locations, and blockchain analytics. We may freeze or close accounts that fail checks or appear high-risk.

11) Responsible play & self-exclusion

We provide tools like deposit/loss/session limits and self-exclusion. If you self-exclude (here or elsewhere), you must not use the Service. We may deny service where we believe harm is likely.

12) Restricted locations & no VPNs

You must not access the Service from Restricted Jurisdictions (listed on-site and subject to change). VPNs, proxies, or location masking to bypass restrictions are forbidden and may result in account closure and forfeiture as allowed by law.

13) Intellectual property & license

All content/software is owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service; reverse engineering, scraping, redistribution, or unauthorized commercial use is prohibited.

14) Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your winnings or trading profits under your local laws.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for telecom/internet/third-party failures.

17) Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy breaches, integrity/AML issues, legal requests, or user safety concerns. Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply.

19) Translation

Where we publish translations, the English version prevails if there's any inconsistency.
